Second Street Music Academy

About the Teacher

   Hi.  My name is Leslie Denning, and I have owned and operated
   SecondStreetMusicAcademy since July of 2001.  Because of my
   education and background, I am able to teach a variety of  lessons, and
   I welcome students of all ages to the studio.  I have over twenty years
   teaching experience.  In addition to private lessons,  I've  taught K-12
   Vocal and Instrumental Music in public school.  I've played piano
   professionally and have also served as church pianist, organist and choir
   director.

   Degrees:         B.S. in Music Education (piano emphasis)
                            LincolnUniversity, Jefferson City, Missouri

                            M.A. in Music Education  (voice emphasis)
                            Central Missouri StateUniversity, Warrensburg, Missouri

           Studio Location
                   201 W. Second Street
                            Dixon, MO
    Second Street  Music Academy is  located
    in downtown Dixon kitty-corner from the
    Post Office.  From 28 Highway north, turn
    left at the Delano service  station (just past
    the railroad bridge) and go one block. The
    studio is a small rock building on the left,
    and is approximately 13 miles from Road
    Ranger on I-44 in St. Robert.
